We have news for you. Three pieces of news, to be truthful. News about music to soothe your addled mind in these troubled times. The news today (oh boy) is this:<\/p>\n

THE FIRST PIECE OF NEWS<\/strong> is about our beloved Arrom<\/strong>, who offered up her debut album at the flickering end of last year, and now returns with seven new variations. Each new variation draws on the experimental pop, ethereal choral vocals and dark, organic electronics of the Take My Lymphs<\/em><\/a> album, and moves it, with a great fluidity, into new spaces. Abstract ambience, spacious harmonics, minimal techno, dirty kicks – all food groups are represented.<\/p>\n

Take My Lymphs Remixes<\/em><\/a> also acts a love letter both to and from five contributors who were involved in the creation and release of the original album. Each revisits one of the album tracks and makes it their own, and when we say \u201ceach\u201d we mean Provenance label mates Aphir<\/strong> and KAIAR<\/strong>, along with co-writer Ahm<\/strong>, experimental house producer Hypersleep<\/strong>, and Yet Variant<\/strong>, who plays synth and percussion in Arrom’s live band. In addition, Arrom delivers her own self-soothing re-work of the album\u2019s opening track, Stardust<\/em>.<\/p>\n

You need not wait – Take My Lymphs Remixes<\/em> is out now on Bandcamp<\/strong>, Spotify<\/strong>, Apple Music<\/strong> and all those other places.<\/p>\n

THE SECOND PIECE OF NEWS<\/strong> is also about Arrom<\/strong>. To celebrate the release of her new EP, she has also curated the Provenance<\/strong> Spotify<\/strong> playlist this month, which features music from Bjork<\/strong>, Kiasmos<\/strong>, Andy Stott<\/strong>, Mazzy Star<\/strong>, Burial<\/strong> and more. It is a thing of great beauty, one that persists.<\/p>\n

THE THIRD (AND FINAL) PIECE OF NEWS<\/strong> is about our annual label compilation, Marks Of Provenance<\/em>.
