check out the above track, some midtempo hip hop with sweet production, pulling influences from anticon for sure. other mp3s, available from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.feenom.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">their site<\/a>, are a little more straight up, but pretty solid if you like it old school.<br \/>\n<strong>VON INA<\/strong>\u00a0[US: SAN FRANCISCO]<br \/>\n<strong>same sad song<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.voniva.com\/02%20Same%20Sad%20Song.mp3\">mp3<\/a><br \/>\nthe sf examiner calls them &#8216;dance-rock foxes&#8217; and i guess there&#8217;s a crushing inevitably about media getting hot under the collar whenever a four-piece girl band get loud and nasty. check out their\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.voniva.com\/press2.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">press page<\/a>\u00a0and see how many superlatives relating to feral animals you can find, it&#8217;s very frigging odd. anyway,\u00a0<strong>von ina<\/strong>\u00a0have rightly been dropped into the same post-punk bracket as\u00a0<strong>!!!<\/strong>\u00a0and their ilk, however the above track betrays a more rockin&#8217; including this genre-bending track from\u00a0<strong>crix crax crux<\/strong>. good to hear that in this day of the dull 70s rock revival that there&#8217;s still a place for skewed guitar-based alt.pop. still, the email did say that frigital promotes &#8220;taut post-punk, woozy folk, and damaged pop from the bedroom, basement and beyond&#8221; &#8211; so you&#8217;ve got a rough idea of what we&#8217;re looking at here&#8230; more info and mp3s from other artists on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.frigitalrecords.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the frigital site<\/a>.<br \/>\ndemon lover emailed to say that s\/he had found some links relating to\u00a0<strong>solina<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211;
