\"\"<\/a>Last April I started a new playlist on Spotify – \u2018Degrees Of Provenance\u2019’ – music that has inspired the artist on my record label, Provenance<\/strong>. Since then, the playlist has been constantly morphing, with a different member of the Provenance family curating the playlist each month (currently featuring selections by Medicine Voice<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To launch the series, I curated my own playlist, which I’ve recreated on my Spotify account @StuBuchanan<\/a>. The playlist kicks off with the vocals of the Bulgarian State Television Female Vocal Choir<\/strong>, and then drives through a 3-hour selection featuring Silver Apples<\/strong>, Tricky<\/strong>, Public Image Ltd<\/strong>., Dean Blunt & Inga Copeland<\/strong>, Damo Suzuki<\/strong>, The Black Dog<\/strong>, Einsturzende Neubauten<\/strong>, Steve Reich<\/strong>, Rhythm & Sound<\/strong>, Single Gun Theory<\/strong> and other curios from the last four decades of music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
