\nAphir closely follows the release of her 2017 album Twin Earth with a new, non-album cut, Can\u2019t Comfort backed by remixes from Provenance label mates, KAIA and Arrom.
\nOn Can\u2019t Comfort Aphir notes: \u201cI feel that a lot of people, young women especially, are taught that sometimes you have to exhaust yourself looking after other people before you\u2019re allowed to look after your own needs, and this song is a rejection of that\u201d.<\/p>\n

\nAphir is the solo electronic project of songwriter and producer, Becki Whitton.
\nAs Aphir, Becki has performed her glitched-out vocal soundscapes around Australia and internationally, including her performance at Berlin\u2019s 2016 Music Tech Fest. Her work with indigenous singer\/songwriter, Denni, saw her take to the main stage at the 2015 Falls Festival.
\nAphir\u2019s 2017 record for Provenance, \u2018Twin Earth\u2019, sees the firm foundation of her layered vocal arrangements inflected with luminous alien samples.<\/p>\n
