back in june, bonde das impostra dropped a track that’s now firmly wedged into my brain – ‘fotologger’, a funk carioca track blending ‘toxic’ by darling britney. it’s exactly the kind of track that would have k-fed crying himself to sleep at nights, dreaming his baile dream and wondering how it all went wrong.
there’s not much to know about BDI as yet – other than they seem to have a tongue-in-cheek distaste for most of their hip countrymen (especially bonde do role and css), and that their latest set of four tracks on myspace forgo obvious sample sources (kraftwerk aside) and instead adopt some rather sweet electro.
